Call for Papers – 12th Workshop on Banking and Institutions
August 17-18, 2026

Workshop is organized by LaRGE Research Center (University of Strasbourg), Bank of Finland Institute for Emerging Economies (BOFIT), and Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University (New York).
KEYNOTE SPEAKER: José-Luis Peydró (LUISS and EIEF)
TOPICS: The workshop organizers invite researchers to submit empirical papers linking banking and institutions. Possible topics include but are not limited to the following:

- geopolitics and banking
- political economy of banking
- banking and society
- banking in emerging markets
- climate and banking
- monetary policy and institutions
PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Those interested in presenting a paper should submit a copy of their research in PDF format via online submission form. Only complete papers will be considered. There is no conference fee. The deadline for submission is March 15, 2026. The authors of accepted papers will be notified by April 13, 2026.
