German Finance Association

The German Finance Association is the key scientific association in the German-speaking countries in its field. The association is a non-profit organisation and was established in 1993 to create a stable, permanent forum of exchange for the latest financial research.

The German Finance Association is open to anyone who is or has been doing research in finance, regardless of whether they work in academia or the finance industry.

It has about 500 members. All committee members contribute on a purely voluntary basis. The most important aim of the German Finance Association is the promotion of financial research and the exchange between academia and industry. The association actively supports young researchers.
