The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Basel invites applications for an Assis-
tant Professorship in Corporate Finance / Sustainable Finance (Non-Tenure Track) to begin on
August 1, 2022 or by appointment.

Your position

The professorship in corporate finance / sustainable finance will join an active research group in
“Money & Finance” as well as “Energy & Environment”. Candidates are expected to teach courses
in Corporate Finance on the Bachelor and Master level.

The professorship is limited to five years. The position involves teaching at the Bachelor’s and/or
Master’s level and contributing to the faculty’s doctoral program. The teaching commitment
amounts to four hours per week each semester. Teaching can be held in German or English.

Your profile
Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in economics, finance or related areas. We welcome
applications in all subfields of Corporate Finance and are particularly interested in researchers in
the area of Sustainable Finance or related fields.
