The Stuttgart Stock Exchange (Börse Stuttgart) will be hosting the 1st European Retail Investment Conference (ERIC) from February 24th to February 25th, 2011. Close to 100 academics from thirteen different countries submitted their best work. Fifteen papers were selected by the conference committee and will be presented and discussed during the conference. The topics covered include: retail investor products, financial advice, mutual funds, behavioral finance, investment decisions and market microstructure.

During the conference there will be a panel discussion with financial experts, politicians, academics and regulators. The keynote will be delivered by Prof. Terrance Odean, University of California at Berkeley, a renowned and respected academic in the field of behavioral finance.
